I enjoy the challenge and feel this mod adds a ton of fun to a rather flawed but great game. The level of difficulty is hard with YSA in the beginning but gets more manageable as you progress thru the game. This particular mod is fully customizable to tailor the gameplay experience to your liking and can be turned off and on with no damage to saves, which is fairly safe when it comes to mods. Yes mods do come with bugs and glitches as you stated, but so do fully released and patched games. Sounds like you just don't like to mod your games, which is fine, I for one choose to play PC games specifically for the mods.

That goes without mentioning the rest of the glitches.Īgain - I'm all up for hardcore settings, but not without proper QA testing. (only couple few that popped into my head) Which is why it doesn't feel natural. If the game had the intended difficulty as the YSA mod, the devs would've changed many of its encounters such as the first troll, wolves, sprites and the mentioned glitched boss in the log file as well. I've already read what the mod does in the log file, that was generally speaking. I only posted it here to get the info out to you guys. All of those issues stated above are addressed by this mod. Please think of the content over the format before down voting my post into oblivion.

I figured my brief statement and the link were a clear and concise way of relaying the info. I hope my comment was useful for you guys. I also realize I'm a bit late to the party (two months after the last post in here), but this is by far the best solution out there if you don't consider hex edits cheating. I'll try to come back and provide a screenshot for proof, but it's already past my bedtime :P The link I provided doesn't seem to be getting around much on the internet so I thought I'd share it here. I hex edited my save today (I'm on PC by the way) and I currently have a max inventory of over 10 million. I'm not great with the whole "coding my posts" to make cool links, but I appreciate you taking them time to do that for me. Sorry, I didn't quote anything in my previous post but thank you for politely pointing that out :) I didn't quote anything because 1) I wasn't sure I could even post without an account and 2) the quote would have been quite lengthy.
